Please read these terms carefully before booking your safari with Afromania Tours.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. Full payment is required no later than 45 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be received in writing. The following charges apply:
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are non-refundable once issued. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), mobile money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), and PayPal. All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. Bank charges and transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours. Your insurance must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and personal liability. Afromania Tours is not responsible for any costs arising from failure to obtain adequate insurance.
A valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Uganda. We recommend consulting your doctor or travel clinic 4-6 weeks before departure for advice on malaria prophylaxis, hepatitis, typhoid, and other recommended vaccinations.
All travelers must possess a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their intended stay with at least two blank pages. Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda. East African Tourist Visas are available for those also visiting Kenya and Rwanda. It is the traveler's responsibility to obtain the correct documentation.
Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits are subject to availability and must be purchased well in advance. Once issued, permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Permit prices are set by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and are subject to change without notice.
While we make every effort to follow the agreed itinerary, Afromania Tours reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances including weather conditions, road closures, safety concerns, or changes in wildlife movements. Any additional costs resulting from such changes will be the responsibility of the client.
Afromania Tours acts as an agent for transport companies, hotels, lodges, and other contractors. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity that may arise from actions of these third parties. We are not responsible for force majeure events including natural disasters, political unrest, or epidemics.
Afromania Tours reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during tours for promotional and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please inform us in writing before your tour begins.
Any complaints should be reported immediately to your guide or our office so that we can address them promptly. Complaints made after the tour has concluded will be considered, but we cannot guarantee resolution if we were not given the opportunity to address them during the tour.
